Oscar can be a pretty fussy eater, asking for something and then refusing to eat it. Once said he didn't like his pizza when he'd made the dough himself and picked out his own toppings. So this recipe, in a bid to get them to eat 'Krabby Patties' is an amalgamation of three different recipes. Works brilliantly PROVIDED, unlike me, you actually dissolve the stockcube first!!
Ingredients:
450g Mince Beef
450 Mince Pork (the guy near Kidzone will mince pork for you!)
2 onions finely chopped
1 chicken or beef ( I used beef as had no chicken and was grand) stock cube dissolved in 30 ml hot water
2 large apples, peeled and grated. Squeeze out excess juice.
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley.
Salt and Black pepper , vegetable oil for shallow frying.
Bread rolls, lettuce, cheese slices, relish, tomato sauce, mustard, whatever you fancy yourself!
How to:
Mix together all the ingredients for the burgers and form into as many as you can. Not giving you a definite number here as . . . how long is a piece of string. I like mine medium. Darren likes his large and Arthur likes his just right!!
Shallow fry, grill or barbecue the burgers. Cut rolls in half and place the burgers on some lettuce and top with cheese. Leave out lettuce/cheese if you prefer and just add ketchup.
Then dig in. Yummy
We had burgers too..but ours were from Londis..boooooooooo!!!! Karl on the case for making these..woo hoo!!Ta for receipe
