Castles and headaches

Went to Ardgillan Castle in Skerries today with mate Carol and many of her friends.  For a picnic.  Was very good, made sambos for the boys, packed juice, fruit and water and then went to Spar to buy myself a roll and a bottle of Coke!  Had my three, one borrowed and one friend of Harrys' and had a blast.  Kids had a great time.  Tonnes of food and loadsa space to run around in.  But, tell you one thing, felt like a dishcloth when I got home.  Was shattered, hot and bothered (fricking weather here is unreal) and had a sore head.  Arthur had a rough time as he was rugby tackled by Harry who had had enough of his baby brother by 2pm and laid him out.  Poor Arthur.  He had to have a lie down, bathtime was a nightmare (for D - I was in bed working off headache) as grazed skin hurts.  I remember.  I had scabby knees.
The borrowed boy nearly made it down the hill.  The boy may not crawl but he is a superfast bum shuffler.  Had a blast pushing Aoife on the swings.  I don't spend enough time with Carol's daughter, just playing, y'know.  She is the only girl out of far to many boys and I think that is why she is always so eager to help and probably why I am always so eager to dissuade her.  She's too nice to the boys and they take the piss.  Anyway, we had fun on the swings and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
G. lost her phone and we all (approx. 8 mammies) said 'but you have the nos. backed up, right?) to which she said 'NO!'.  And we all suddenly realised that neither did we.  I'm always saying I must but . . . . who has time to write down a shit load of phones nos??  Not me anyway.
Scored excellent brownie points by making an egg frittata thing (an excuse to use anything edible in the fridge), it wasn't my cup of tea but it served it's purpose.  Plus, I made a banana bread cake thing.  Huge hit.  Three cheers for a cake/bread/thing that only needs one egg and a couple of nearly gone bananas.  Whoohoo.
Short drive home, quick shower, several pain killers later and here I am.  Tried new migraine medicine today and it seemed to work.  Mind you, hedged my bets by taking syndol too but . . . here I am.  Am weak as a kitten but getting there and, best bit, the headache is COMPLETELY gone.  Not just 'nearly gone' like it has been for the past week but completely gone.  I should be making flowers and strawberry leaves now but, I think I may have mentioned it, am weak as a kitten so going to grab a few jaffa cakes and go to bed.
