When my ma and da died they very cleverly left what they had in trust for us all which meant I got my inheritance tax free, whoohoo etc. I'd wanted a beetle, convertible of course, since I was 18. In fact it was my ma and da who encouraged me to take out one of those endowment insurance policy things ("It'll pay for your car" - they said). By the time the policy matured it was only worth 2k which instead bought me a scooter/moped. I'm delighted to say that they bought me my first car. Well, the first one that counted. It even has their signatures on it. I love that car.
But, oh dear right?, but. . . it is a convertible beetle and whilst I love it with all my heart it is just a car. I've seen something else I like. Something that has Perfectionist written all over it. I've been on to Mick (Motor Solutions) who has always done me good in the past to price a mini clubman.
Let me know what you think? And remember, a car is just a car AND I have my ma and da's signatures ready to go on another car, a mini clubman should that happen.
p.s. I'd still rather my ma and da. Happy birthday mam, belated birthday. Love and miss you every day.
