Neighbourhood Watch gone crazy

Where I live the residents have set up a facebook page (as you do now apparently) and on the page there is a lovely lady who has set up a Neighbourhood Watch scheme.  So . .  I think people panic over bloody everything these days.  So I couldn't stop laughing when Himself pointed out this post:

Hi, for the last few friday evenings from about 6-8, a dark coloured van (vito) with a lh reg pauses every 100m or so whilst two young kids have jumped out the van, knocked on doors, back to the van and so on. No idea what they are looking for or collecting. I think our malcolm (cat) has them warned. But as indicated in the second page of the newsletter it may be a scam.
