Still hanging on in there

I've been trying to work out why I've not been here.  The reasons are:

Yup, very busy cake week.  Which meant no time for anything else really.  Also buggered up my foot whilst out galivanting with Ms.Urban Stems at the Flea last week, that put me on a crutch for a day or two.  Yeah, it's been mental.  I think that many cakes is not good for us.  we also made a Christening cake and a bouquet - not sure about the bouquet, it went out when it was too new.
Then there was the market.  I'm having to think about the market.  I love doing it but . .  I don't get to see the terrible three as much.  It's amazing how something that is only meant to happen at the weekend can take over your entire week.  I start thinking about the market the minute the one I'm on is finished.  Plus, we had so many cakes go out this week it made me realise that my love is for cake.  Not cupcake.  Cupcakes are beautiful and a little cakes of joy but I love caking, decorating, creating.  It's so odd when your hobby turns into a job.  I'm baffled.  Plus, I really love the girls I work with and .. . .  aaaagh.  Still, the probation time I've given myself is still running so we'll wait and see.
Yeah, the terrible threesome miss having me around.  Isn't that so funny?  The little feckers barely acknowledge me when I'm here but the minute I'm off doing my thing it's all 'you're never here mam'.  Swines.
Two of them are curled up on the sofa beside me right now.  # 2 is lying on the floor drawing a picture of the three of us on the sofa.  We're watching Mulan - love that move.
Himself is in bed.  He's not well.  Awwwww.
Was so funny.  Last night I went to bed at about 1am having finished the the hippo / lion cake.  Himself had been on a night out with a couple of his mates.  The infamous Garry being home from the states being the cause of the ensuing mayhem.
Mayhem!  Woke up at 4.30am to see yer man dancing as he undressed for bed.  Drunk as a skunk.  He had his earphones in and was giving it loads.  Singing and dancing, quietly enough mind.  Bloody hell, it was like some bizarre silent strip tease.  Fantastic.
