Seriously, this is the first time I've had to add to this since, well, the last time. Summer holidays ( nearly over, whoohoo ) have lasted a lifetime thanks to the rain. Boys spending too much time together which means they are practically feral.
Took the youngest one (Arthur) into a loo in Skerries last Saturday and we shared a cubicle. He asked me to play pissy swords with him - a game taught to them by their dad, who also had three brothers. Basically when two boys have to pee together they use their willies as swords and cross streams whilst making light sabre nooises. Told him I couldn't whereupon he thought for a second and said "yeah, you don't have a sword to piss with!". They need to go back to school and have some female company that isn't their ma.
What else? Did my biggest cake ever which was for a 50th wedding anniversary. I have this flyer thing I send out to everyone who is interested in cakes from me and on it is a top table cake with the tag 'this isn't mine, but I'd love to make it'. Anyway, a frind of mine decided that was what she wanted.
One wedding photo album later, six additional kids added, 74 hours and finished. And they loved it. The 'bride and groom's' brothers and sisters cried when they saw their parants as it would seem I captured them well. Dead chuffed. On a bit of a low now as have been working and thinking about that cake for weeks I honestly don't know what to do with myself. Clean house perhaps. Hose down boys? Ironing?
Nah, think I'll leg it for a coffee!!
This Banana Nutella Trifle is a decadent, crowd-pleasing dessert that
layers rich Nutella cream, velvety whipped cream, ripe bananas, and a
crunchy Oreo ...
