Votes, that is. Dick Roche (FF) wanted recount after recount. The gobshite is still out. Phew. Except is it? Am a bit baffled. I don't want FF in but I'm buggered if I want FG in. It's all so complicated. I am, however, looking forward to all those bloody smug posters/poseurs coming down off every lamp post around town. If I have to look at Darragh's 'Pick me, please, father of 3, good worker' face or Alan buggering Farrell's 'smug fucker' face I think I may weep.
How long do you think until the winning parties start on about how they weren't allowed look at the books before they got in and that they've been sold a pig in a poke? I wonder.
What else? Just watched the Oscars, no surprises there. Love Colin Firth and I so hope he hasn't peaked. That would not be good. Very sad in fact. Go see 'The King's Speech' if you haven't already it's one of the best movies I've seen in ages. Oh, and what was with Sandra Bullock? She looked awful, fake and plastic and she's one of my favourite actresses. Can't anyone age gracefully? I know there face is their fortune but . . Katherine Hepburn looked beautiful and never, that I am aware of, did anything to her face or boobs. Speaking of boobs . . Broadwalk Empire. All the boobs are real! Seriously. Not one looking at ya right in the eye. More a lowered look.
Okay, going to go and watch . . .actually, I have nothing on sky+ to watch as the sodding box keeps deleting stuff halfway through. No Skins. No Nurse Jackie. No Grey's Anatomy. Pah.
I guess I could go and start work on one of the many cakes we have going out this week. But . . . I think I'll just sit here and surf for a while longer.
